I have been actively learning astrology since I was 9 years old.
It all started with an article on the zodiac signs that I read in the back of one of my older cousin’s magazines. I soon found myself listing the 12 signs on a piece of paper and had my classmates at the time write their names down next to their sun sign so I could learn more about each one. I would sneak onto AOL after school (a classic millennial move) and devour every article written by Rick Levine on Tarot.com and extensively perused the astrology section on gURL.com until there was nothing left to read. I spent years doing natal chart readings for friends and sharing my astrological knowledge with them. However, I never believed a career in astrology was even remotely possible, so I never fully dreamed of pursuing my passion in that way. However, as I saw more and more people start their own business with the help of social media, I too decided that I can become the consulting astrologer of my dreams and decided to open my own astrology practice in 2021 and 6th House Astro was born. Since opening my practice, I have taught an intro to astrology class, continued studying under Annabel Gat, the resident astrologer at Vice, and I am currently the resident astrologer at Yarrow and Sage in Austin, Texas. I have also been featured in VoyageAustin magazine. I do natal chart readings locally here in Austin/central Texas and also do readings for clients from around the world, and I only hope to continue to expand my business and become a valuable member of the astrology community.
