Hi! I’m Laura, the face behind 6th House Astro! I am astrologer based out of Austin, Texas and I am here to help you unlock deeper levels of self-understanding and self-improvement by using astrology as a tool. As a modern psychological astrologer, I use western Placidus techniques to get to the heart of your birth chart and help you gain greater awareness as to why you are the way that you are and how you can harness your unique astrological gifts to the best of your abilities.
The name 6th House Astrology is an ode to the area of our natal charts that rules habits, routines, wellness, physical health, and our general day-to-day lives. As someone with a 6th house stellium (a collection of planets in a particular sign or house), I have a knack for being of service to others who feel stuck in their lack of self-awareness by pinpointing the details of their natal chart and showing them how they can use them to their advantage.
My 30 Minute and 1 Hour Chart Chats are flexible enough to where we can discuss anything you want to about your chart for the allotted amount of time. If you’re a beginner, however, I recommend a Full Natal Deep Dive. I also offer astrocartography (locational astrology to determine auspicious places for you to visit or even live in), synastry readings (compatibility between two charts), Saturn return readings, tarot readings, and spell work. What is Astrology?
Astrology is the study of the movement of celestial bodies in the sky and how they affect humanity, the natural world, and other life on earth. It is an ancient practice that has existed throughout various cultures for thousands of years and is seeing a popular resurgence today thanks largely in part to social media. Ultimately, astrology is a fascinating way to gain a deeper level of self-understanding, and is one of my favorite tools to help others get to know themselves in a different way.
